Technicians and makers who are accustomed to working with injection molding are making the switch to 3D printing. With r.Pod®, end-use parts can be printed in the material of your choice including Valplast®, nylon, ABS, PLA, PETG, TPU and composite filaments with wood and metal fill.

The photopolymers that are typically used with dental 3D printers are messy to work with, contain hazardous chemicals and are limited to short term or single-use appliances. With r.Pod® 3D printing we have taken popular thermoplastics such as Valplast® and transformed them for use with our popular r.Pod® line of printers. Featuring dual Flexion™ print heads for controlled extrusion, r.Pod® is optimized to print advanced filaments like Valplast®, PMMA and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).
